The film tells the story of Tarrell, a successful Black artist who is struggling with his past. His estranged father, La'Ron, a recovering addict, unexpectedly visits him and asks for forgiveness. Tarrell is hesitant to forgive his father, but his mother, Joyce, encourages him to give La'Ron a second chance.
